LaGrange was handed the keys to the car from Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion, during an event this past weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Edwards presented the car to LaGrange along with Jack Roush, co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing and owner of Roush Performance Vehicles. This is one of the coolest programs yet,” said Carl Edwards. “I’d love to be able to keep this car for myself, but I am really excited to get on the track with Diann and show her what this Roush Stage 3 Mustang can do.” The Roush Stage 3 Mustang is one of the premier performance cars available to consumers. This customized edition of the Roush Mustang has the Carl Edwards’s No. 99 logo stitched into the upholstery and a special paint scheme that includes the signatures of both Carl Edwards and Jack Roush. “This Roush Stage 3 Mustang is just an incredible car,” said LaGrange. “I’ve been a member of the Office Depot loyalty program for years now and I really appreciate what Office Depot is doing to reward its loyal customers.” “As both a loyal race fan and Worklife Rewards member, Diann really demonstrates one of the many ways we are using NASCAR to engage with our customers,” said Chuck Rubin, President, North American Retail for Office Depot. “There are many benefits in our newly-enhanced Worklife Rewards program and we are very excited to showcase Worklife Rewards through this NASCAR themed promotion.” In addition to the thrill of driving on the racetrack with Carl Edwards behind-the-wheel, LaGrange’s VIP experience in Miami included pit and garage access at Homestead-Miami Speedway and the opportunity to watch the Ford 400 featuring Edwards and the rest of the Nextel Cup field from both the No. 99 Office Depot pit box and from a suite above the grandstand. The “Worklife Rewards™ Sweepstakes” ran from September 1 through October 20, 2007 and eligible Worklife Rewards™ members were automatically entered into the sweepstakes anytime they made a purchase using their Worklife Rewards™ card or number during that period and opted in for the sweepstakes.
