When controversy creeps into the racing world and sparks heated, polarizing debate, it’s best to keep perspective. Who better to provide that perspective but the littlest race fans?
Meet Erin, a six-year old race fan who watched her first race at six weeks of age. She’s been a NASCAR fanatic ever since. Let’s eavesdrop …
How long have you been a race fan? Um … I don’t know. As long as I can remember.
Do you have a favorite driver? Yes.
How many favorite drivers do you have? Four
Who are your favorite race car drivers? Dale Jr., Steve Park, Dale the Daddy, Bobby Labonte
What’s your favorite part of the race? When somebody wins the trophy.
What do they do during a pit stop? Get gas, change tires and get the tires pumped up.
If you could do anything on a race team, what would you want to be? The race car driver.
What color would your car be? Green
Who would be the sponsor? A hot dog.
What’s the key to winning a NASCAR race? Go really fast and don’t crash.
If you could ask Dale Jr. one question, what would it be? When are you going to run another baseball car?
What’s your dream vacation? Dale Jr’s race shop. When can I go to a race?
